Chiropractic for runners

Recently we've had a few new patients in our office who are runners. One is training for an upcoming marathon and we were talking about doing our long runs in preparation for the race. Considering I have been adjusted regularly for the past 16 years, I cannot imagine NOT being adjusted, particularly when it comes to my running health.
You see adjustments help a person in so many ways -- reduced nerve interference, better range of motion, less body stiffness, improved performance, and less chance of injury. When it comes to running, all of these are so important in your overall performance. There is a particular adjustment that works really well for runners (come in and experience it!), as we constantly pound our bodies on the pavement as we add on the miles.
When you are relying on your body to get you ahead every day, why wouldn't you want to be adjusted? Don't you want to be the best you can be? No we can't make you run 5 minute miles if you don't have the abilty and don't train for it, but chiropractic adjustments will help a runner improve their performance, by allowing yourself to be as healthy and pain free as possible. When you are healthy and everything is working right, assuming you work hard and train properly, it will help a runner.
So if you run (and even if you don't), ask us how we can help you become the best YOU possible!
