When news broke last week that actress Brittany Murphy died of natural causes, my immediate thought was that 32 year old women don't die of natural causes, there had to be something else. Days later, news came out that she died of a heart attack brought on by prescription drug use. While we may never know exactly what it was that caused her death or if that is even true, we can only speculate what happened. After all, reports say she had a mixture of 10 different prescription drugs in her bedroom, some of which were for her mother, but she may have been taking. It sounds very similar to what happened to Michael Jackson this summer.
Yes, drugs do kill, whether prescribed, taken over the counter, or purchased illegally. Yet many people in our society think they save you and make your life better. While there are certain situations where drugs are necessary, there are more situations where drugs are unnecessary. Too many people in our society today rely on drugs because they are making poor lifestyle decisions. High blood pressure, cholesterol and diabetes are a few examples of conditions brought on by poor decisions, usually from eating too much of the wrong food, not enough of the right foods, and not getting enough exercise or rest.
Add to that, 90% of the people in our society never visit a chiropractor and never get adjusted, so most likely have a nervous system that is stressed out and not working properly. How do you live an optimally functioning life when your body isn't functioning at its best? Taking drugs is not the answer. I don't know if people will ever learn that they need to look to within themselves for better health and to take responsibility for their own health. Drugs don't heal, only the body does, and interference from horrible nutrition and spinal misalignment will cause problems. Don't take drugs to fix that. Go visit a chiropractor, get adjusted, and start leading a healthy lifestyle.

NUTRITION
After many years of studying nutrition, we feel that whole food nutrition is the best way to go (instead of vitamins). The two products that we carry and recommend highly are Juice Plus & Standard Process.
With Juice Plus, children between ages 4-18 can get the product for free if a parent is taking the product. You can only get it through a distributor so we can sign you up for this, please ask us about it (for yourself and/or your children).
Standard Process is a supplement line that we do specific nutritional analysis for, depending on individual needs.
